All other surfaces on the filter, such as the return hose nozzle, have a nickel-plated finish that provides corrosion resistance, protecting the base metal from rusting.To filter large amounts of fryer oil and debris, this Pitco P18 fryer filter has an extra-large filter area, 1/3-horsepower pump, and heavy-duty motor assembly. This unit has a high-temperature, sanitary return hose that is flexible for reaching difficult areas and is equipped with a nozzle that has a heat-resistant handle. For simplified assembly and disassembly, the hose connections are quick to disconnect.
